In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and supplies, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent communication with team members and clients. Duties

• Safely operate delivery vans and commercial vehicles to transport goods to various locations.
• Load, unload, and secure cargo, including heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring items are protected during transit.
• Follow designated routes and schedules efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Communicate clearly with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery status or any issues encountered.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections, report maintenance needs, and maintain cleanliness of the vehicle.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all trips.

Experience

• Prior delivery driver experience preferred, with a strong focus on commercial driving.
• Experience operating vans or similar vehicles in a professional setting.
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients.
• Valid driver’s license appropriate for commercial driving; clean driving record required.
• Familiarity with local routes and traffic regulations is advantageous.
